How long does the diffuser last?

Our hanging diffusers last around 60+ days on average. However, in warmer seasons, they dry up faster and may need more refills. To address heat-related longevity concerns, we offer electric diffusers that last longer.
I can't smell the scent after few days.

Not being able to detect the scent can occur due to what is known as "Olfactory Fatigue".
Where are your products made?

Our products are made locally in Sydney Australia using ingredients that are sourced locally and Internationally.
What is the shelf life on your products?

All of our scented products are designed to last up to 12 months
Are your oils safe?

We only source and use IFRA (International Fragrance Association) perfume approved oil
Do your products cause allergy?

If you suffer allergic or respiratory reactions to perfume or any type of air fresheners, we recommend you DO NOT use our products as we can not guarantee that you won't get an allergic reaction. Should any allergic reaction occur, please seek medical help.
Are your products safe to keep in the car?

Our hanging diffusers are designed to withstand car cabin temperatures. Our pocket sprays are recommended to be stored in center console or glovebox and be kept away from direct heat or sunlight.
DO'S

Where possible avoid direct sunlight as excess heat will dry the diffuser.

The longer you prime the diffuser (tipping upside down with wooden cap on) the stronger the scent. We recommend holding upside down for 40 seconds when new and the 15-25 seconds for top ups.
DON'TS

Warning.Do not swallow.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid rubbing eyes upon contact with oil.
Please Seek medical you swallow diffuser liquid, have an allergic reaction, have breathing difficulties.
Do not allow liquid to come into contact with textiles or finished surfaces.
Clean spillage immediately with damp cloth.
Avoid spillage on painted or porous surfaces.
Over saturation of a hanging diffuser can cause leaks and damage the interior. If you accidentally oversaturate, please remove the diffuser immediately and contact us.

How long will my order take to dispatch?

All orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours from our Sydney warehouse.

Can I cancel my order?

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We ship daily.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we can cancel it at no charge.
If it has already been shipped, your refund will be processed minus the shipping cost.
Do you accept returns if I change my mind?

Yes, change-of-mind returns are accepted under the following conditions:Return request must be lodged within 7 days of receiving your orderItems must be received back within 14 days of delivery

  • Products must be unopened, unused, and in original resalable condition
  • Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit

Returns must include a completed Return Authorisation form, which we will provide upon request.We recommend using a registered postal service, as you are responsible for return shipping and any damage during transit.
What if my product arrives damaged or faulty?

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please email adam@carscent.com.au within 7 days of receipt, including:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photo evidence of the issue

If approved, the item must be returned within 14 days of receipt.Please note: Opened and used products cannot be returned.
What if I receive the wrong item?

While all orders are carefully checked prior to dispatch, if you receive an incorrect product, please leave the item unopened and contact us immediately.

We will provide a reply-paid address and arrange for the correct item to be sent.

Opened products are not eligible for return.

How do I use the Hanging Diffuser?
  1. Carefully remove the inner stopper cap.
  2. Secure the wooden lid back on without over-tightening.
  3. Gently tilt the bottle for a few seconds to allow the fragrance to absorb into the wooden cap.
  4. Hang securely from your rearview mirror.

For best results, avoid over-tightening the cap as this may cause cracking.
How do I use the Air Vent Diffuser?

Attach the diffuser securely to your A/C vent. When airflow is activated, the fragrance will disperse evenly throughout the cabin.

For stronger scent projection, run your A/C or fan system while driving.
Are there any safety recommendations?
  • Handle the diffuser carefully when opening.
  • Use scissors cautiously if needed to remove the stopper.
  • Wear gloves if preferred when handling fragrance oils.
  • Ensure the cap is securely tightened if it becomes loose over time.

Always store upright and avoid contact with interior surfaces.
